Modelling of DAF and water basement

In this project, a full-scale DAF unit is modelled with 3-phase CFD in order to resemble the current system behaviour. Validation is pursued based on velocity measurements. The model will then be used to test several scenarios with respect to operation (e.g. load variation) and design (baffle placement, baffle length, reactor dimensions). The outcome will be useful for the partner to improve future designs of DAF units.
