Model calibration, validation and improvement of the Eindhoven WRRF model

For over a decade, Waterboard De Dommel and BIOMATH have been working together, first on the wastewater treatment plant of Ter Haaren, later on the one of Eindhoven. This collaboration is continued in this project, aiming at (1) a continuous calibration and validation of the available WWTP model of the installation in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, (2) improving the use and management of online data obtained at the WWTP and (3) an increased prediction capacity of the model by applying new modelling frameworks.
