Funding our research
BIOMATH makes every effort to apply its solutions to real world challenges. Besides our academic collaborations, we also collaborate with industry. To fund a research project, different opportunities exist. The optimal choice depends on the topic as well as the interests and needs of the partners involved.

Bilateral and precompetitive research |
Research can also be funded by industrial partners. This can be in a one-to-one fashion for company-specific research based on a bilateral agreement. Another more novel approach is to define research in a precompetitive consortium. This is intended for researching topics still in a precompetitive phase and that are of interest to more than one company. The advantage is that the project cost can be spread amongst companies and the objectives can be reached faster. |
